Old Poems

I found my old notebook. So much of it was garbage. It was a little tough to read some of it. But some of it wasn't bad. These are some of my old poems. I was a morose fellow, it seems. Some read as they were originally written. A couple I couldn't help but edit just a little. I've got a lot more old poems. I'll probably put more of them in, if I decide they're worth reading. But these were some that were laying around loose. I thought I better put them here, before I lost them for good.

Slide
I don't remember what this poem is about. I'm sure it had to do with a girl. I cut the original end out, because it sucked.

On Working At The Newspaper
This is from when I worked at...the newspaper. I didn't like it.

Opening Night
This is  about a girl. A lot of my old poems are.

Poem For ____
This is also about a girl. I left her name out of the original title, because it doesn't matter. Looking back, it's sort of weird to me how strong my feelings were then, and how vague and fuzzy they all are now.

Cleanup From Hurricane ____ Continues At This Hour
Also about a girl. Also left her name out of the title. I like this poem. I really like the title.

15 Steps
I only have a vague memory of what this poem is about. But re-reading it, I liked it. It's a little emo, but still...

Cold Day, Today
This is one of my old "about a girl" poems, too, as you can tell from the reference in it to a girl. Ahh...girls.
